Professor Vernon Bond’s primary research interest is the effects of physical activity on blood pressure in African Americans. He teaches exercise physiology. His publications include the following collaborative articles: “Normal exercise blood pressure response in African American women with parental history of hypertension.” American Journal of the Medical Sciences (2004); “Aerobic exercise attenuates an exaggerated blood pressure response in normotensive young adult African-American men.” Blood Pressure (2003).
