Across Howard's graduate degree programs, our students are united in their goal of positively impacting their local and global communities.
Join us this fall for our Virtual Graduate Programs Open House Series to explore our master's and doctoral programs, to get advice on putting together a strong application, and to connect with faculty and current graduate students. Whether you're finishing your undergraduate degree, applying from outside the U.S., or balancing graduate study with a career, we'd love to get to know you! Why Attend?
Meet virtually with current graduate students and ask questions to get a glimpse of graduate student life. Have in-depth conversations with academic program directors who will share information about their respective programs, requirements, research opportunities, and program support. Learn what makes you stand out as a competitive applicant. Attendees may be eligible for an application fee waiver.
Virtual Open House Schedule
Each Open House session follows the schedule/times noted below. If you can't make an entire Open House session, register and drop in for a portion of the session (i.e., join the Welcome Session & Student Panel from 12:00-12:45 PM or join a Breakout Session with academic directors from 12:45-1:30 PM):

12:00-12:45 PM ET | Welcome Session (all attendees)
Introduction to the Graduate School, learn what makes a strong application, learn about funding support including assistantships and financial aid opportunities, and hear from current graduate students.
12:45-1:30 PM ET | Program Breakout Sessions with Academic Directors
Meet faculty and current students from the program you're interested in, learn what makes the program distinctive, get program-specific application advice, and ask your questions. If you're interested in more than one program, you're welcome to move between breakout rooms available for that open house date.

Find your program below to see which dates it's featured, then under the section "Register for Open House Sessions" click the yellow registration button under the date below to register. Each program hosts its own breakout room from 12:45 to 1:30 PM ET, following the welcome session at 12:00 PM ET.
Don't see your program? Register for any date to attend the welcome session, which covers applications, funding, and student life for all programs. You can also contact the program directly through our director of graduate study directory here. Attendees may be eligible for an application fee waiver.
