American Association of University Women
American Association of University Women (AAUW) is an organization dedicated to promoting āeducation and equity for all women and girls." The AAUW advances gender equity through increasing access to education. The AAUW's Educational Foundation is dedicated to funding research and providing educational funding assistance to outstanding women throughout the globe.
American Indian Science and Engineering Society
AISES is a national organization focused on increasing the representation of Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) field. Members from over 200 tribal nations are represented within AISES, and AISES creates and provides programs, events, and financial resources to increase access to STEM for Indigenous students.
Association for Women in Science
AWIS celebrates the impact that women scientists make in a variety of different fields. AWIS offers membership for graduate students in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medical fields. Benefits include access to career opportunities, a subscription to the AWIS magazine, job postings, funding resources, and networking opportunities.
National Association of Graduate-Professional Students
NAGPS strives to be the umbrella organization representing all the graduate and professional students in the country. Its threefold mission is to: (1) develop and sustain a member network to connect graduate and professional students and their associations, (2) provide resources and support to empower members, and (3) advocate at local and national levels on their behalf.
National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers
The mission of the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) is to build "an eminent cadre of successful diverse global leaders in STEM and advance their professional endeavors by adding value to their academic, development, leadership, and philanthropic endeavors throughout their careers."
Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science
SACNAS is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of Chicanos/Hispanic and Native American graduate students and professionals in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM. SACNAS understands diversity brings creative solutions to the world's most challenging scientific problems.
